On Wednesday 4th April we welcomed Mr Simos Lantides, the winery owner’s son.
The winery, which is a family business, was founded in 1993 by Panos Lantides and it focuses mainly on Greek quality wine.
The winery covers an area of 110 acres. The varieties that are cultivated are: Agiorgitiko, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Chardonnay, Mosxofilero, Assyrtiko and Malagouzia. Currently, the winery produces 149.000 bottles on an annual basis and exports many of these.
During the presentation, students tasted some of the better-known wines such as: Aenaon, nemea, Mosxofilero and Cava.
We would like to thank Mr. Lantides for his excellent presentation.
