Η LE MONDE συμμετέχει στο “2013 Έτος Γαστρονομίας στη Σαντορίνη”
This year, more than ever, the visitors of Santorini will get the chance to taste the local cuisine at its absolutely best.
LE MONDE Institute of Hotel & Tourism Studies, actively participates and fully supports the initiative of the Municipality of Thira “2013 Year of Gastronomy in Santorini”. This initiative aims at promoting and highlighting the unique, local gastronomic products of this wonderful island.
Within this framework, LE MONDE organizes a series of events and activities in the island. More specifically, on Friday, May 17th at 15:30, a gastronomic seminar entitled Local Products-International Gastronomic Delight, will take place. During this seminar, Mr. Kalosakas Makis and Mr. Panagoulis Achilleas, chefs and teachers at LE MONDE Institute, will make delicious and innovative recipies using the local products of Santorini, while Mrs. Tzitzi Maria, oenologist, will suggest which local wine ideally accompanies each dish. During the event, participants will be able to taste all those lovely dishes.
On Saturday, May 18th, at 11:30, one more event will be held at the Bellonio Cultural Center in Fira, entitled Careers in Tourism: a passport of international recognition. During this event, representatives of LE MONDE will inform the audience about the prospects and the opportunities of working in the tourism sector. All of the above mentioned events, are open to the public.
